NAHA · MAKISHI / OKINAWA SOBA

Savor the
broth.

Pork and bonito broth, made fresh every morning. A comforting bowl for lunch or dinner in a quiet Naha backstreet.

SCROLL

Simple, honest. And worth coming back for.

The mellow richness of pork bones meets the clean aroma of bonito in a bowl built around broth made fresh every morning.

Chewy noodles, tender braised pork belly, and a small side of island vegetables. Whether you are sightseeing or stopping by for lunch, we hope this is a place where you can settle in and feel at ease.

Our craft

Deep umami, a clean finish.

We never boil the broth aggressively. Time brings together the richness of pork bones and the fragrance of bonito for a finish that stays light and clear.

  • The broth was so gentle and flavorful that I finished every drop. The pork belly was tender too — exactly the kind of lunch I would come back for.

  • We stopped in while sightseeing. The calm atmosphere made this a perfect place to try Okinawa soba for the first time.

  • Easy to share with our child, and the jushi rice was delicious. Our family likes to visit on weekends.
